On this Earth Day:
O merciful Creator, your hand is open wide to satisfy the needs of every living creature: Make us always thankful for your loving providence; and grant that we, remembering the account that we must one day give, may be faithful stewards of your good gifts; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy spirit lives and reigns, on God, for ever and ever. A few reminders for the coming week:
Calling all sheep!
This coming Sunday, April 25th (the 4th Sunday of Easter), has long been known as "Good Shepherd Sunday." Sheep, like human beings, come in all shapes and sizes. You are invited to help create a "flock" by bringing your sheep (small? carved? china? stuffed animal? local? imported?) and shepherds to church this Sunday. Arrive a few minutes early and place them on the window ledges.
Services will be at 8 and 10. At the later service we will have the pleasure of guest musicians Val and Bill May who will enrich our music with their harp and guitar.
Later this week...
Thursday, April 29th: Vestry Meeting at 7:00 pm, preceded by Round Table Eucharist at 6:00 in the Prince Room, followed by brown bag supper.
Mountain Top deadline for next issue is Friday, April 30th.
