June 15th, the First Sunday after Pentecost, Trinity Sunday, will be at 8 and
10 am.

Sunday: Genesis 1:1-2:4a, Psalm 8, 2
Corinthians 13:11-13, Matthew 28:16-20.
Debra, from the office, will be on vacation Tuesday (17th)
and Wednesday (18th). Please

Calling
all gourd painters! A gourd-painting worship will be held in the Parish
Hall this Thursday evening, June 19 at 6:30. No
previous experience required. Come learn how to do it, have some sociable fun,
and begin preparing items for sale at the Sandwich Fair in October.
Special thanks to all
whose prayers, presence, energy, joy, and love of God contributed to last
Sunday’s Day of Pentecost spirit-filled
liturgy – especially to our young people, our musicians, are multi-language
readers, the liturgy team. Our celebration continued that evening at Hobbs
where 20 of us from St. Andrew’s enjoyed a wonderful meal in support of the
Bearcamp Valley School and Children’s Center – another opportunity for us to be
the visible church out in the world. Don’t miss the

Don't miss our 2nd Annual
All-Parish Picnic next Sunday, June 22nd at 10:30 at the
Pavilion at White Lake State Park,
south of Chocorua Village. We will gather at 10:30 for our informal eucharist; that will be followed by the picnic
and social and recreation time! Spread the word and invite your friends and
family. The location is fully wheel-chair accessible, including rest
rooms. Stay as long as you want.
(Regular admission to the park is $5/adult.)

Where is it? Headed north on rte 16 (toward Conway) from
the intersection of rte 25 (at Yankee Smokehouse), it is about 1.5 miles to the
entrance which will be on your left (west). Dunkin’ Donuts, on the right, is
just before it. When you get to the entrance booth, just tell them you are
there for St. Andrew’s Church picnic and your fee will be waved. Follow the main road in to the lake. The
pavilion is a bit to the right once you reach the parking area. If you want to
look at a map, here it is. (The pavilion is marked helter.”)

What to bring:
- Chips, salad, or dessert. (Hamburgers, hotdogs, and veggie burgers – and the grills to grill them on – will be supplied.
- Bring your own plates and tableware if you’d like to live your eco-friendly values (though some will be available.
- Bring your swimsuit, towel, and water toys. The water is shallow and is reported to be warming up nicely. There are changing facilities available.
- Bring your kayak if you fancy getting out into the center of the lake. (The swimming area is roped off.)
- Bring a portable chair if you are uncomfortable sitting on a bench, or are not a “beach sitter.”
Contributions will be
gratefully received toward the costs of our picnic. (The pavilion
reservation charge was $75. Purchased food yet to be determined. Just put “picnic”
in the memo line. Thanks.
(Our regular 8:00 service of Holy Eucharist next Sunday at
the church will take place as usual for those who are choose not to come to the
picnic.)
LOOKING AHEAD . . .
A memorial service
for Charlie Worcester, son of summer member Barbara Worcester, will be held
here on Sunday, July 6, at 2 PM.
Members of the parish are encouraged to bring something for the refreshment
table.
Mark your calendars for
our popular Lobster Boil and Steak Grill Dinner on Friday, August 1st
at 6:30. Tickets will be available in July.
Our summer altar flowers program is underway. If you wish to
provide flowers from your garden please complete an envelope from the Altar
flower chart in the Parish Hall and turn in to the office. Thank you. We
encourage flowers to be given in memory, in honor of or in thanksgiving. If you do not have garden flowers and would
like flowers to be ordered ($20), please note that accordingly on the flower chart
and submission envelope.

Encouragement is to
