Update On Parish Contributions to Tom Reinfuss's Diaconate Process: Hi everybody,
Thank you for all of the contributions you have provided to offset our $750 fee to the diocese to support Tom in his discernment process. Since I first brought this up during the July 30 services, the contributions have slowly and steadily been coming in. We have now reached the full $750! This fulfills our financial commitment to the diocese and if additional contributions arrive they will be set aside to cover any other expenses that might come up relating to Tom's process. Contributions to the ChIPs program and United Thank Offering need to be submitted by this Sunday, October 23rd so they can be taken to Diocesan Convention by our delegates.
Join us after the 10 am service on October 30th for the Blessing of the Kitchen led by The Rev. Brian Kelley. It has been redone from the floor to the ceiling. New paint, new stove, new prep table, the addition of a mop sink and prep sink, came together with help of many hands and donations. A big thank you to all who had a “hand” in this refurbish.
