From the "Don't Say We Didn't Warn You" department... There is a slight possibility that work will begin this Saturday on the ramped entry to our Parish Hall! If so, be on the lookout for signs indicating which way to enter. The first phase of the work, whenever it takes place, will be to remove the existing walk and railing.
Next Sunday, October 16th will be Fall Workday. Wear work clothes, bring your gloves and rakes and plan to stay to lend a hand for sprucing up. Indoor and outdoor work needed.

October is a month of changing colors, cooling temperatures, and autumn harvest. The following prayer gives God thanks for all the beauty of October and autumn:
"Loving God, thank you for the many gifts of October. for the beauty of the changing colors, for the warmth of favorite fall food creations and for the many changes that another fall season brings us. As we enjoy the beauty of Your world every day, let us daily celebrate signs of Your goodness and beauty, now and forever. Amen."
Blessings, Debra
