Yikes! Our annual Boughs & Bonbons Christmas Fair is
only a little more than a month away – Saturday, Dec. 1st. This year, the committee is hoping to enlist
the help of “many hands” to prepare the decorations for the approximately 60
wreaths that are such a popular part of our Fair. On
Monday, November 5th at 7:00 pm there will be a decorations prep
party at the church (to include dessert/coffee). And, since wreath decorations are fairly
pricey, we are hoping that you can bring “no-longer-being-used” embellishments
you have on hand as well as any natural materials (pinecones, acorns, branches, mosses, lichens,
etc) that you might find in your backyard or on a walk through the woods. This should be a fun way to get us in the
holiday spirit. Hope you can join us. ~The
Christmas Fair Committee~
Please contact
co-chairs Lynne Clough (323-7046) or Patti Rau (367-8223) with questions or offers of help. Let’s make this Boughs & Bonbons the best
ever!
Celebrating and thanking Bishop Gene Robinson. The ticket reservation deadline has been extended.

Food
for thought from Br. Curtis Almquist SSJE as we begin our Fall Stewardship
season:
You might want to take a tour
through your home and intentionally acknowledge your stewardship of the
material things to which you’ve been entrusted. That you belong to God, and
these things belong to God, and that when God is ready to redistribute these
things, you stand ready, not reluctant, but ready, by God’s grace, to give it
up.
See you in
church!
Blessings, Heidi+
If you have anything that you would like to have put
in the Thurs. Memo, please email to the office by the previous Wednesday. Your
submissions are welcome.
