DINNER BELL
-
The Annual Continental Breakfast Meeting for Dinner Bell
Teams
THIS SATURDAY ~ June 3rd at 9am.
We welcome any one who is interested in helping with this Outreach.
This is a very important
outreach opportunity that
needs new volunteers. Enlist a friend to help serve a meal to those who
count on it here on Sunday evening. If you don't cook, no worries, we can
provide lots of ideas that are easy, like pizza night, hot dog bar, make your
own subs or pick them up from Subway. Please contact the office or Carol
Tubman if you can join the list of Cook Teams.

LAST WEEKEND

Last
Saturday a Yard Sale was held in the St.
Andrew’s parking area. Proceeds that went to Fundraising exceeded $100. Pictures of the event can be viewed at the
end of the memo in the Photo Gallery.
- FROM
THE INTERIM RECTOR -
Pentecost is this Sunday
Don’t forget to wear red!
Do you speak a foreign language? If so, would you read a portion of the Gospel in
that language? Please contact Caroline by Saturday if you would like to take
part in reading the Gospel in “many tongues”.
Memorial Garden
The
St. Andrew’s Memorial Garden was established in 1984, and the ashes of many
parishioners and friends are buried there. A number of current parishioners
have also decided they would like their ashes interred there, and have reserved
a plot. We are now in the process of updating our records, and are contacting
those who have reserved a plot. If you believe you have reserved a plot, and
are not contacted, or, if you would like to reserve a plot, please be in touch
with Caroline at 323-8515 or interimsaitv@gmail.com. Applications are available
in parish hall, or can be emailed to you at your request.

SEARCH COMMITTEE

A Request from the Search Committee
As we continue with our fact gathering for our
parish profile, we have mentioned at our Sunday services that we would be
having small informal group discussions so that parishioners could continue to
discuss our parish, and our search for a new rector. This coming Sunday, in the
parish hall, there will be a sign up sheet with the names and addresses of
parishioners who have agreed to host these discussions. Please sign up under
the place, date, and time that is most convenient for you.
Your
thoughts and opinions are very important in our search process, so we would
like as many of you as possible to attend one of these sessions
If you
have any questions, please contact any search committee member.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
-
Hope
Can you remember a
setback, a disappointment or a loss that made you feel that all was lost, that
nothing more could be done, that there was no longer any reasonable cause for
hope? with Jesus there is always reason
to hope. There is nothing – not even
death itself – that can conquer or defeat us.
“ Do not fear, only believe.”
