1st and 3rd Wednesday morning at 10:15 a.m.
If you knit or crochet (or would like to learn how to) and are led to engaging in an outreach mission that provides physical and spiritual comfort to those in need, please join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at 10:15 AM in the Prince Room. We are a joyous group that will keep you in stitches! The coffee and tea will be on and new members are always welcome. If you have any questions, please call Lin Frank at 323-0402.
IT'S ABOUT PETS
THE PET CORNER
THE BUNKER FAMILY
2011 and 2015 show the willingness
of HalfPint to play with Melissa through the years. Melissa was 3 in the
first one, and was playing school where she was the teacher and HalfPint the
student. 4 years later, HalfPint was still stroller-willing.
The picture below displays our 2
older cats, Tundra and HalfPint in 2013. We recently had adopted a
kitten, Nilla. Tundra and HalfPint had not previously gotten
along. However, once Nilla moved in, they started having "adult
time" on our bed in order to get away form Nilla. The funniest thing
about this picture is the bulge under the covers in the middle. Unknown to
Tundra and HalfPint, Nilla had snuck in ahead of them and was hiding out during
there adult time.

FORWARD DAY BY DAY FOR TODAY
THURSDAY May 9, 2019
Luke 5:4 When [Jesus] had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.”
Lord, sometimes you call us into the deep where untold treasures dwell. For reasons of your own, you have us venture beyond where we have gone before, leaving behind things we have relied upon and sailing away from the shoreline. Faith’s journey requires us to get in the boat and leave behind everything we don’t need—so that faith might grow and grow us.
Come up higher, you say. Come out into the open air. Though you fear the heights, I will meet you there. Come out to where your feet no longer touch bottom and you no longer see dry land. Though you fear the depths, I will hold you up with my hand. I will meet you in the unknown.Come when you discern my calling, though your way you cannot see, and know when I call, I am calling you closer to me.
MOVING FORWARD: Where is your net? Is Jesus asking you to try the other side? Will you listen?
FROM Deb IN THE OFFICE
I want to extend my abundance of THANKS!
For the many prayers and office support during my family emergency.
For the many prayers and office support during my family emergency.
To the prayer shawl group for my lovely shawl.
I would like to let everyone know that my mom is now in Acute Rehab working very hard on her recovery from her stroke. This time of need for me may find me out of the office again on occasion during her transitions and I appreciate all your support to help Caroline in my absence.
It most certainly gives me a deep, deep appreciation and respect for the nurses and caregivers and their hard labors of love for those they help on a daily basis. God's blessings for you all!
