I wonder, how many of us have these wonderful, bold yellow "4 o'clocks" blooming in our gardens, mementos of Margaret Jackson and her generosity.
They transplant easily and grow anywhere! If you'd like some of your own, let me know. There are plenty to share! (Margaret was an avid gardener and longtime member of St. Andrew's who died two years ago.)

This coming Sunday, July 4th, we will have ONE service only at 9:00, followed by coffee hour hosted by Diane and Frank Lombardi. We will end the service promptly by 10:00 so that you can make your way to whatever Independence Day festivities you might have planned with family and friends. If you do have guests visiting, live your faith and encourage them to join you for church giving thanks for our freedoms and offering our prayers for this country and the world.
Special thanks to Bob Seston, Pat Scarborough, and Gretchen Behr-Svendsen who stepped up to the plate at the last minute last Sunday to team up with hosting Dinner Bell. FYI: There will be no Dinner Bell this Sunday.
Our condolences to Betsy Rouner and Judy Grace at the death of their beloved dogs. Betsy's dog Kita passed away last Sunday and Judy and Larry's dog Lilly on Monday.
Our Third Annual Surf or Turf Dinner of lobster and steak will be held on Friday, July 23rd. Mark your calenders now and invite your friends. Fliers and tickets will be available on Sunday for posting in the area. Proceeds will go to the support of three Tamworth organizations: the Bearcamp Valley School, the Tamworth Communty Nurse Association, and the Tamworth Caregivers. If you are able to offer a helping hand, please talk to Sally DeGroot or Lynne Clough.
Enjoy and give thanks for the gifts of this weekend. And remember, amidst the exuberance of parades and fireworks, to set aside time to be alert to the sound of sheer silence.
See you in church.
Blessings, Heidi+
