TREE CLEANUP! Tom is planning
to tackle the clean up on Friday, September 14th at 9am. If you can lend a hand, please let Tom know.
Mark your Calendars!
- The book study will begin it on Sunday, October 7 following the 9:00 service.
- The Vestry has chosen September 30th as the day to celebrate our new roof. It may or may not actually be completed then, but regardless, we want to celebrate the very successful Raise the Roof Campaign with a potluck brunch.
- A memorial service for Peg Cade will be held at St. Andrew's at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 29, with a reception following in the Parish Hall.
-RECOVERY MINISTRIES 2018 SPIRITUAL RETREAT DAY
The Recovery Ministries of the Episcopal Church of NH is pleased to announce the offering of a Spiritual Retreat Day on November 10th at Grace Episcopal Church, East Concord. The theme of the day is Recovery, a Sacred Healing. This Retreat seeks to provide an opportunity for prayer, contemplation and fellowship for those who identify as affected by addiction and who seek reconciliation, restoration and unity with God and each other. Hello
Everyone,
It’s
almost Fair Time! I am looking for judges to help judge youth exhibits at
both Fryeburg and Sandwich Fairs. Judging categories could include
posters, baking, sewing, vegetables, arts and crafts, photography etc. You
can judge whichever category you’re most comfortable with. No experience
is necessary, we will orient you to the process and staff will be there to help
the whole time. This year I only need a few judges for Fryeburg but lots of
help at Sandwich.
Who
can help judge:
Anyone
over the age of 18, parents, 4-H leaders, community members, anyone looking to
learn more about 4-H J
Judging
Schedule is:
Fryeburg Fair: Saturday September 29th
11:30-2pm
(11:30-12 Judges Orientation)
Sandwich Fair: Friday October 5th
5:30pm-8pm
(5:30-6pm Judges Orientation)
Please
let me know if you might be interested in helping out as a judge. Judging
takes place the day before the fairs are open so parking is usually not an
issue. As a thank you all judges receive a pair
of passes to the fair.
Thanks,
-Amanda

FROM Deb IN THE OFFICE
It is my plan to tackle the office attic with the goals of
1. Bringing down the many boxes of old files for a shredding company.
2. Removing the carpet rolls from the attic to be stored elsewhere.
3. Organizing current file boxes (7 years) along with extra supplies from the office.
It is a very small area of storage for office files that has become dangerously crowded.
I am hoping for volunteers who will be able to lift boxes and carpet.
It should be much cooler up there by October 19th (I hope!)
Please let me know if you will be able to help.
Thank you
